Yes. For chilled and frozen services, pallet limits and packaging requirements apply, and temperature requirements must be clearly stated on the consignment documentation.

Yes. We support aviation-critical movements such as AOG and HOG parts and use different carrier options depending on freight size, location and urgency. Larger movements may require separate marine insurance arrangements.

Air freight is best suited to urgent shipments where speed is the priority. What can be sent depends on the freight type, packaging, and any restrictions (for example dangerous goods requirements), so we confirm suitability during quoting

Yes. Express Cargo regularly transports vehicles to and from Southern Hemisphere Proving Ground (SHPG), a specialist snow and winter testing facility in New Zealand. We support freight forwarders, OEM programmes, and testing teams with secure and time-critical vehicle movements aligned to winter testing schedules.

We handle a range of vehicle movements to SHPG, including:

• Confidential or “secret” vehicles (prototypes and pre-release models), offering a discreet pickup and    delivery process, with restricted communications and agree points of contact. Controlled handovers    aligned with programme protocols, suitable for sensitive winter testing schedules.

• We coordinate the transport of crated vehicles for winter testing programmes, managing movements to and from SHPG. This includes collections from ports, airports, freight forwarder depots, and warehouse facilities. Where required, we can arrange suitable lifting equipment and provide secure road transport to the testing site or designated staging locations. Crated vehicles are regularly transported as part of importation, testing, and export logistics programmes.

• We coordinate open vehicle transport for standard programme vehicles and fleet rotations to and from SHPG. This service is commonly used for vehicles that do not require enclosed transport or crating and is ideal for fleet changeovers and time-sensitive vehicle movements.

Yes. Once winter testing is complete, we coordinate:

• Collection from SHPG
• Delivery to export staging points, depots, or ports
• Movements aligned with onward shipping or programme requirements

This supports smooth transitions from testing to export or next-stage logistics.

Yes. Photo condition reporting at pickup and/or delivery can be provided, particularly for:

• High-value vehicles
• Prototype or confidential units
• Programme vehicles requiring condition verification
